Fort Collins Tree Care offers all these services
It is well that you should celebrate your Arbor Day thoughtfully, for within your lifetime the nation’s need of trees will become serious. We of an older generation can get along with what we have, though with growing hardship; but in your full manhood and womanhood you will want what nature once so bountifully supplied and man so thoughtlessly destroyed; and because of that want you will reproach us, not for what we have used, but for what we have wasted. |

EMERALD ASH BORER UPDATE 5/14/2020
On Thursday May 14th, officials from the City of Fort Collins Forestry Department released a statement confirming the presence of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) in Fort Collins. Samples were taken from an undisclosed location just north of Fort Collins city limits which were given to Colorado State University and tested positive for EAB.
This marks the second confirmed case of EAB in Larimer County, and the first confirmed case in Fort Collins. With this highly invasive pest arriving in our community, we are strongly recommending all individuals with ash trees receive consultation regarding the health and potential treatment of their trees. In some cases, removal of ash trees may be favorable to treatment, as pre-existing defects or damages may compromise product efficacy or long term viability of the plant. EAB treatments are available and most effective when applied preventatively. All ash trees, including ones in good health, are susceptible to the pest. Depending on the health and location of your ash tree, we are able to treat your trees with a variety of application methods including soil injection, basal bark sprays, soil drenching, and trunk injections. Our team of arborists will be able to best advise you as to what course of action best suits your needs.
If you have questions regarding your ash tree, or are seeking a quote for treatment, please contact our office at your convenience. Our highly skilled staff is always available to provide you with an estimate at no cost to you. For more detailed information regarding the Emerald Ash Borer please reference our website page:
